Fehraad De Nicker was a vibrant force within the global Design Thinking community and a deeply valued member of the HPI d-school Afrika team in Cape Town.

As a passionate communicator, creative thinker, and tireless organizer, Fehraad brought people together across cultures and continents—embodying the collaborative spirit at the heart of the Global Design Thinking Alliance (GDTA).

With exceptional skill in marketing, communications, and event management, Fehraad played a pivotal role in shaping the GDTA’s public voice. He led the coordination of our website relaunch and was actively contributing to the preparations for the GDTA’s upcoming annual conference—always with vision, energy, and meticulous care.

Fehraad’s impact was not only professional but profoundly personal. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, humor, and unwavering dedication to building a more connected and compassionate world through Design Thinking. His legacy lives on in the relationships he nurtured and the meaningful work he championed.
