IRDG’s Design Thinking 2021 virtual conference

The new GDTA member Industry Research & Development Group (IRDG), Ireland is hosting a virtual conference under the motto “Rethinking Business with Human-centered Design“.

From 22nd to 24th June 2021, numerous Design Thinking experts from Ireland and the world are gathering online to share their insights with a global audience. Two of them will be Uli Weinberg, Director of the HPI D-School Potsdam and GDTA President, as well as Claudia Nicolai, Academic Director at the HPI D-School Potsdam.

The IRDG Ireland is an innovation network with over 300 member companies, which benefit from the creative potential of Design Thinking. The dynamic community focuses on how to achieve business and job growth, as well as prosperity trough a human-centered design approach.

Since eight years, IRDG Ireland is organizing the Design Thinking conference to gather experts from around the world, learn from their experiences and open up new perspectives. The event is industry-oriented and aimed in particular at companies that want to know how Design Thinking works and how they can apply it in their company. Due to globalization, customer, product and service requirements are constantly changing and require a new way of thinking and working. With Design Thinking, these challenges can be mastered in a sustainable and effective way. At the virtual conference, speakers will present and discuss a complex blend of product design, experience design, service design and business model problems.

The event is a chance for innovative leaders to connect with a big creative community. Due to the digital format, the conference is accessible from all over the world. Join and be educated, inspired and connected from 22nd to 24th June 2021.
