Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam is Germany’s university excellence center for digital engineering. With the bachelor‘s and master’s degree programs in “IT Systems Engineering,” the Faculty for Digital Engineering at the University of Potsdam offers an especially practical and engineering-oriented study program in computer science that is unique throughout Germany. The HPI School of Design Thinking offers a supplementary training program in Design Thinking that is unique in Europe. Students receive solid knowledge and skills in innovation methodology and practical application. In intensive collaboration with companies and social institutions, our multidisciplinary student teams develop especially user-friendly products and services.
