This online event will explore the Afrikan Collaboration Network for Design Thinking, an open and growing ecosystem dedicated to building capacity and knowledge across Africa. Facilitated by the Hasso Plattner d-school Afrika at the University of Cape Town, the network aims to foster collaboration, share resources, and build capacity tailored to local contexts.
Jenni van Niekerk is the convenor of the Afrikan Collaboration Network for design thinking at the Hasso Plattner d-school Afrika, and previously served as the Programme Curator for d.confestival Cape Town 2022. With a background in Social Anthropology and an MA in Communication for Development and her work experience in the civil society, academic and public sectors, Jenni‘s work is driven by a commitment to social justice, skilful empathy for people, and a unique blend of creative, strategic, and analytical thinking. She thrives in designing and facilitating transformative learning experiences, weaving together diverse perspectives to inspire actionable change.
