The Global Design Thinking Alliance extends its network. On occasion of the annual conference at Hasso Plattner Institute, New York, the GDTA welcomed five new member institutions: The American University in Cairo, Echos Innovation Lab, Penn State University, Tecnológico de Monterrey and Universidad Mayor.
From April 4-6, 2019 GDTA president and HPI D-School Director Prof. Uli Weinberg travelled to Cairo to attend the first Global Forum on Higher Education and Scientific Research. The new Global Design Thinking Alliance (GDTA) will focus its future activities on establishing high international standards for Design Thinking education and research, and promote the diversity of the innovation method.
The founding of the Global Design Thinking Association (GDTA) was announced at the anniversary celebrations of the HPI School of Design Thinking in Potsdam.
